The Annual Shootout Fundraiser is an event organized and hosted by the student chapter and sponsored by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. Each April, teams of 5 head to Freeman Ranch in San Marcos for a clay-shooting competition where they can win cash prizes, enjoy a great wild game dinner, a fantastic raffle, merchandise, and bragging rights, and offer much appreciated support to the society. The 2020 Shootout Fundraiser date has yet to be set.

In addition to competitor entry fees, the society has a sponsorship program for those who would like to make a cash donation. For more information, visit our Scholarships & Fundraising tab or contact an officer. If you choose to make a cash or raffle donation, your (or your organization's) name will be proudly displayed on our eye-catching banner! Donations of all types are graciously accepted year-round.
